Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He must have been let down by a solicitor in more recent times, that's what I'm getting from all this. Getting a dog in at the Law Society.

    Tree-mendous.

Bonus points for a mention of Jimmy Saville. Who probably isn't as evil as those solicitors.

I read PieOhMy's post as a tongue in cheek reference to the big guy's tendency to refer to job losses in terms of the number of families affected.

The takeaway from today can only be that Hitler, Jimmy Saville, Pol Pot were misunderstood compared to the pure evil that is Kevin and Lyndsey.

Jimmy Savile was evidently an evil cnut from the first ever day he appeared on TV. My mother used always remark that he was a disgusting creature and always up to no good regarding children, but that people seem to be fooled by him for some reason.

Missed de promo and de show - not dat day do be related in any way of course so to speak.......

Just had a look at this current page of comments - Hitler, Pol Pot, and Jimmy Saville? The only logical conclusions I can draw from the mention of this triumvirate of bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad b@stards is that either:
    A) Joe had to read out an apology
    B) RTE have to bury more news about themselves so to speak
    C) Ivan Calorie did something again

    Should I listen back?

Joe would no doubt enjoy a trip to Phnom Penh where he would stay in Raffles.

Sadly not A, but possibly B or C. It was about de Bonnie & Clyde solicitors jailed in Cork. My conclusion is that Joe is having a major go at the Law Society etc on account of having been let down by a solicitor. Remember when he went on about losing his pension twice; maybe there was some legal professional involved in his financial downturn.

If this is her trying to ward off a 'co-leader' :D coup-d'etat, she'd be better leaving her initially interesting creation to the awful permanently upset wokesters, now rampant in that small party.

It appears she wants to police RETIRED employees with nothing to do with her organisation and their probably crap humour!

No harm if it were to go. ( Funny Friday that is)

I hope the NAtional Womens Council put out a statement calling out this blatant sexism...

Just after they put out one condemning the blatant sexism suffered by former female solicitors who receive a much lesser sentence after pleading guilty to the same crime as a male solicitor.
