Seeding a new lawn - what's the timeline?

I cleared an old poly tunnel off a patch of land in my garden (left by the previous owners and is a pretty bad state of disrepair). Used a mini digger to clear out all the overgrowth around it, pushing the brush up on to the ditches. This was done in late October last year so I never got a chance to seed the lawn as we had some bad frosts at the time.

With spring coming up, I'm thinking of using the following timeline:

    1. Late March - spray weed killer on exposed earth and leave for a week or two
    2. Rotavate the whole area/level earth.
    3. Leave to settle for a week after rotavating and leveling.
    4. Sow grass seed.

    Does this sound reasonable?
