Seems a good thing to do to get best value for us, is look for vouchers that have say £5 or £10 off but the original total still being less than around £22.50. That way you get the tax deducted but as well as that the full voucher amount deducted on top of that. Gonna post a beard thing now as an example.

I assume you have a beard and it needs improvement? :)

Did the 60p beard growth thing not work for people? Thought that would get more likes at 60p! I got 2 myself.

I don't see that voucher anywhere, how do you get it to apply, or is it finished?

Where do you get the voucher ?

Just below the £19.99 Price there is a Promotion box to tick which knocks £12 off the price making then £4.66 with the VAT off at the checkout.

That voucher is under the price, but it sort of comes and goes, just hit refresh or try another browser. Happened the last time too.

yeah the voucher wasnt there for me but I clicked into the two sellers and it showed up there under the one fulfilled by Amazon.

5.52 is a great bargain for the 8 pieces by the looks of it. Will only use about four of them but my current silicon spatulas are looking pretty weathered, probably from throwing them in the dishwasher which Im guessing you shouldnt do with silcone rubber. But for 5.52 this lot will be going into the dishwasher as well :pac:

Aldi have something remarkably similar for €1.99 each so probably overpriced at £19.99 for eight but undoubtedly a bargain for about £5.50.

Its more expensive but if you want the best easiest to use masher we've had this for 7 years (just checked Amazon buying history). You won't beat it.

Using Prime for free delivery! Delivery fee bumps it above the threshold for customs, then they remove the discount & delivery fee!

€22 is the limit without the UK VAT. As £17.49 is under €22, Irish VAT was not added on.

But the original price was 21stg?

21 stg Inc vat. UK 20 percent vat is removed at checkout. This will take around 4 pounds off leaving it around 17 pounds

  • Registered Users Posts: 906 ✭✭✭gazzaman22

So riddle me this. On that link for the britas. There is other seller options, who are cheaper. Say 1 there at 19.99 stg
When I go to check out it costs me 24 or so stg because of Import fees....

  • Registered Users Posts: 46,030 ✭✭✭✭muffler

The other sellers would be third party sellers and they dont remove the vat. Stick with items that are sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

How much is a pencil these days? No idea but Amazon have 5 HB pencils for 77p at the checkout.

Helix Oxford Clash Pencils (5 pack) - Blue £0.77
    Marhay70 wrote: »

Helix would be a good traditional brand not that that means much these days but I buy these https://www.amazon.co.uk/BIC-Evolution-Original-Graphite-Pencils/dp/B003V8BIFE/ because they are bendy (yes they are very flexible) and the lead doesn't break as easily.

The Dealz ones I've looked at and the wood seems very rough on them but fine if you loose a lot of pencils.
