Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there I have a freesat box set up and a satellite dish, the channels are perfectly clear, so I was wondering could I get sky tv with my current dish?if I could then I wouldn't need a technician calling to the house drilling into my house,I have the satellite wires running through the attic from outside at the moment ,thank you

Sky will only set you up with a Sky Q box, which uses a different LNB (the gadget on the dish which the cables attach to). If the dish itself is in good condition the technician might reuse it. The fitters are contractors so chat to them when they come out about what you want, no reason to end up with two dishes.

You can get a lot of what's on Sky with a combination of Saorview /Freesat if you don't mind a bit of hassle.

You could buy a second hand sky hd box but before you do, ring sky and ask them if they will send you a card. In this age you may get told anything. When you get the card all you do is put into box, ring sky and say you want to pair the card with box.

Here is a freephone no you can ring sky on and hang on to your hearts content.

1800 92 74 76. The sky boxes are on adverts ie and done deal and ebay.

And as mentioned you could get a box say the zgemma h7s for a one off fee and it involves a bit of setting up but loads of help on here.

How many cables to the dish?
    Sky dish or non-Sky dish?
Will you be keeping Freesat with SkyQ?

The current LNB can be replaced with a hybrid LNB to feed SkyQ and legacy satellite receivers
