Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TRV in hardwater area

Daughter has bought a two story one off in the country. Built around 2006, oil fired central heating.

Water is really hard, I removed chunks of limescale from a waste pipe blockage.

There are no TRV fitted and the house could do with them to manage the heating better. Plastic pipe to all the radiators.

I'm wondering would I be lining up hassle down the road by fitting TRV and should I be combating the hard water in some way? Thanks.

Should not be a problem as the heating water isn't fresh water and should be treated.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"
