Appeal of two week soccer forum ban

Hi there,

I would like to appeal a two week ban I received for the post in the Man United forum referencing two players by their nicknames.

“ Doesn’t matter. We have Slabhead and the Ice man.”

In no way were these names used as “abuse” as mentioned in the PM. They are known nicknames of the players involved.

I apologise for causing offence if that was taken but in all honesty that is not what was intended here.

It’s a nickname the player is aware of and doesn’t find it offensive. It’s a term used by the media. I don’t understand how me using the term is considered abuse. If I said it in a bad way then maybe I would understand. I literally just referenced the fact that we have two centre backs and used their nicknames as opposed to Christian names. I really do think this is unfair but I do fully understand why someone might have interpreted it the wrong way or may not be aware of the following below:

I really hope you take this into consideration and remove this ban as this was in no way intended as abuse or to be offensive or anything like that. I really do rely on the soccer forum as a place for me to interact with others and it gives me enjoyment, that is so important to me in these times more than ever.

I urge you to reconsider this and allow me to use the forum again taking the references above into consideration.
