Saw on BBC that Lingard wanted to take it, but Rice took it, and as he's captain he decides.

I find it mad that this isn't all decided before they get onto the pitch by the manager - like Rodri taking the penalty - listening to Pep he wasn't overly happy about him taking it.

Same here, only have Forester on the bench. Have long regretted picking him over Martinez so will likely rectify that mistake at last
