MWF All or Nothing Match Card

Samoan Flag Match for the Tag Team Titles
The Wild Samoans (c) v.s. Samoa Joe and mystery partner
High Chief Peter Maivia as The Special Enforcer

High Chief Peter Maivia opens the show in the centre of the ring as the Samoan flags drape either side of him. A video package is played of the past few weeks of Samoa Joe continuously disrespecting the Wild Samoans during their matches.
Samoa Joe walks down the ramp in carrying a jacket. As Joe takes his place in the ring the video feed cuts backstage to The Wild Samoans laying battered on the ground with Matt Anoa'i calling for help.

The Wild Samoans music hits and out walks Umaga. Umaga walks purposefully to the ring and squares up face to face with Joe. Joe and Umaga then embrace as Joe hands him the jacket with ‘The New Samoans’ emblazoned on it. High Chief Pater Maivia slaps Umaga for turning his back on his Samoan heritage.

The Wild Samoans enter the ring accompanied by Matt Anoai, as Peter Maivia declares this a 3 on 2 match.
This match would be a one sided brawl with Joe and Umaga dominating an already weakened Wild Samoan team.
Samoa Joe will eventually claim the Samoan flag and victory for the New Samoans.

Winners and the new MWF Tag Teams Champions ….The New Samoans
I booked it this way as in the weeks leading up to the match The High Chief and Samoa Joe would be having continuous back and forth promos with no indication of an Umaga turn. I wanted Joe and Umaga looking strong and in the coming weeks, Joe would be Umaga’s mouthpiece as he took on members of the other Samoans.

The Government: The Real American and The Big Bossman v.s. The Mexicools
If The Mexicools lose they are deported

The Mexicools enter down to the ring followed by the Government.
This would be a stereotypical tag match with Swagger and the Bossman targeting one of The Mexicools. The Mexicools would make a rally with some high flying offense, getting the crowd on their side as they threaten with numerous near falls.
They eventually go for one high risk move too many as Swagger catches Psicosis in the ankle lock who taps.

Winners The Real American and The Big Bossman.

Trump sends security down to the ring to detain the Mexicools and escort them out of the arena.
I booked it this way to tie into a bit of real life Trump, with the USA and Mexico. Crowd reactions would be good as they might have expected the Mexicools to triumph. The Government would go on to challenge for the tag titles down the line. The Mexicools would have served their purpose on the roster.

Tournament to crown the inaugural MWF Heavyweight Champion

Semi final 1: Edge v.s. Matt Hardy (no holds barred)

This match would be both brutal and bloody with echoes back to tables and ladders. Hardy would finally begin to take the upper hand before Edge hits Hardy with a low blow and spear for the 1, 2, 3. Just for good measure, after the match, Edge throws a picture of Lita onto Hardy and shouts ‘still only 2nd best’.

    Winner: Edge

Immediately after the match, Trump comes out to the top of stage and announces to the audience that he has come to a financial agreement with a superstar. He goes on to say that many years ago this superstar was robbed of cashing in his money in the bank contract by Edge and that this man has no plans in making the same mistake twice.
The music hits and out comes Mr. Kennedy. Mr Kennedy takes the mic and says he is cashing in a different kind of opportunity. He is going on to become the MWF Heavyweight Champion!

    Edge v.s Mr. Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy hits the ring and a slug fest ensues between the two. Mr. Kennedy begins to gain the upper hand and would go for his Mic Check but Edge would push him into the referee. As Kennedy went to check on the referee, Edge would grab Kennedy’s microphone. He strikes him on the head and lays him out. He then pulls the referee back to his feet.
Edge hits the spear and advances to the final.

    Winner: Edge
I booked it this way as both Hardy and Mr. Kennedy had legitimate issues with Edge. Edge playing the ultimate heel goes to any means to get the job done.

Semi final 2: Curt Hennig v.s. Scott Hall

Curt Hennig goes to shake Scott Halls hand at the start of the match but Hall takes out his tooth pick and flicks into Hennig’s face.
These two men would have a great back and forth match with Hall trying every dirty trick in the playbook before Hennig eventually gets the upper hand.

    Winner: Curt Hennig
I booked the match this way as Hall always works well with smaller wrestlers and Hennig is just technically brilliant. I think their styles would match up really well creating a brilliant 30 minute match.

Elimination Chamber Match for the InterGender Title
Government members: The Show Off v.s. The Tax Man v.s. Fake News (c) v.s. Chyna v.s. Tessa Blanchard v.s. Kong

It’s Kong and Fake News to start the match. This an even contest as the two go back and forth with some unbelievable strength shown by Kong.
Tessa Blanchard’s pod opens next as the two women begin to double team Fake News. Just as Kong is setting up for her finishing move on Fake News, Blanchard rolls her up for the 1, 2, 3.
    Kong is eliminated.

Kong strikes Blanchard as she leaves the ring and IRS’ pod opens up next. IRS and Fake News double team Blanchard with Blanchard kicking out of numerous near falls before Chyna’s pod opens up.
There is a good structured set-up here where it is played out as a tag match almost. Eventually Chyna gets the better of IRS and pins him in the middle of ring.
    IRS is eliminated.

Dolph Ziggler’s pod eventually opes as he hits the ring, attacking first Blanchard and then Chyna. This would be the longest stretch of the match as all four showcase their talent. It eventually becomes Ziggler and Chyna on one side of the ring and Blanchard and Fake News on the other. Blanchard throws Fake News through one of the pods and makes her way over to Ziggler and Chyna.

Trump comes out, starts making his way down to ringside and shouting abuse. This distracts Chyna, allowing Ziggler to hit her with a ZigZag. Blanchard watches on as Ziggler pins Chyna.

    Chyna is eliminated.

Jim Ross then makes his way to ring with Trump at ringside and two get in a scuffle with Ross knocking Trump down with a right hand.

With Fake News still down, Ziggler and Blanchard are in the ring. Ziggler chances his arm and goes in for a kiss. Blanchard slaps him, lifts him up and delivers the slingshot back suplex.

    Ziggler is eliminated.

Fake News makes his way back into the ring and begins to gain the upper hand. Fake News looks like winning, but Blanchard catches him in a roll up and pins Fake News clean in the centre of the ring.

    Fake News is eliminated.

Winner and new Intergender Champion… Tessa Blanchard.
I booked it this way as the three female wrestlers could legitimately hold their own against the males here. It also allows for multiple weeks of one on one matches in a variety of combinations. Chyna and Kong out for revenge on Blanchard, plus the Government looking to avenge defeat.
I have always thought intergender matches could be runner depending on the athletes involved and delighted to get a chance to write it for 3 of the most physically dominant women in wrestling.

Tournament final to crown the inaugural MWF Heavyweight Champion

    Edge vs. Curt Hennig

Edge attacks Mr. Perfect before the bell, hitting him with a spear before the referee finally gets control and ushers Edge back to his corner. When Mr. Perfect finally gets to his feet, Edge attempts a quick roll up and Mr. Perfect just kicks out at two and a half. Edge retreats back to the corner as he sets up for another spear, but he gets caught in the Perfect Plex as the referee counts the 1, 2, 3.

Winner and inaugural MWF Heavyweight Champion…’Mr. Perfect’ Curt Hennig.

Hennig on his knees, kisses the title and holds it aloft as the show closes.
I booked the heavyweight title this way to tap into previous history these semi-finalists had together. With Edge making the final after two viscous matches, it made sense to have a short final match up where he was the ultimate opportunist in looking to finish it early. Also wanted Curt Hennig as the heavyweight champion as it would be a fitting way to crown his first title reign.
