Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You keep saying he's crap and have zero to back it up.

He has shown zero to back up the decision to pick him.

Lowe is so far off being international standard in defence it’s laughable

Can see why he’s a NZ reject, remember when he was so good in 2017/2018 I miss that Lowe

Ireland don’t have a left winger who can defend :)

You were saying? Your weird negative obsession with him is embarrassing.

I was saying he approaches the game of rugby as if tackling is optional.

    Was I wrong or something?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,038 ✭✭✭TomsOnTheRoof

Ed Byrne made a better attempt at making the tackle there.

France more clinical. Lowe never made the ABs IMO for his defensive issues. France know what they want to do in the 22, even if they’ve stuffed it up a fair few times.

I'm not pinning this one on the players, we are so badly coached. What is the plan?

Definitely a valid question at this point.

Larmour for Lowe must be soon

The last thing Rob Kearney did before he left Leinster was teach James Lowe how to tackle.

Well done Earls, thoght it was madness short kicking to the smallest man on the pitch but we'll take the penalty.

Have to say I'm not a fan of this law of the player jumping into the player gets the penalty.

It’s even more gut wrenching because France were there for the taking but the usual problem of not taking our chances has come back to bite us and there is no worse team to do that against than France.

And Byrne has shown no reason to have picked him!

Defensive organisation nowhere near what it was before thier first try. We've gotten sucked in to rushing things... We can't play the way the French do, need to settle.

All we’ve heard from certain sections is how is the best winger in Europe and he’ll show us all

He shouldn’t be near starting another test game in the near future

    Jaysus Ross.

Our 10's are petrified of going for distance.

There’s so many players on the pitch who aren’t even Irish playing for Ireland

Lowe rarely needs to defend for Leinster so never really been tested defensively

    Now..

This is where kicking is needed. We need this conversion!!

Lowe has to take his man . That is basic rugby, nothing to do with coaches or systems

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Well we need a try here to keep the game atleast competitive.

I see the axe grinders are out in force.

The flaws in this side are far more systems based than any focused on individuals.

I've no axe to grind with anyone.

    Ireland are still sh1te, though.

Lol... first try comes from a lost lineout after a bad kick to touch.

    Hilarious.

Well done. Poor French play but delighted he took it
Like last week we could still win it but I can't see anything lighting spark where we will.

I'm not a rugby expert . Just like watching Ireland.

But lots of rip / game over with 25 mins to go above.

    French not amazing?
