Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did Larmor not play the ball outside the 22? Lucky to get away with that

Can we give Casey a run?..
JGP hasn’t been great at all

It’s basic handling errors from France all day.drops and knock ons

Welcome to rugby and the ups and downs that can separate wins from losses.

Need some territory. All been played in our own half.

    Really harsh call IMO

Healy shouldn't have been on this long. His cardio has always been poor. I remember him blowing hard in most games after 30mins.
That knock on was pure fatigue. He couldn't even jog after he dropped it.

His knock on was because his head is spinning.

I’ve been there at a much lower level rugby, you don’t walk back on after that and play at your best.

I hope to god he’s alright long term.

He has been fine. No 9 ever has a perfect game. Tough position.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Incredible stuff, a game of inches. Still in it

Pearse has been poor today, letting murder go at the breakdown. That was never a penalty

He has been fine. No 9 ever has a perfect game. Tough position.

Aside from being out of position hugely for a try and more iffy kicks

He won’t be starting going forward

He hasn't. He cost a try, he's been poor.

A handful of minutes for Casey is an awful kick in the teeth.

    JGP has been poor.

    FFS..

Theses rules are a pain in the hoop..

That's good play from Dupont, but he shouldn't be handing off Furlong and JGP there.

    weird game.

France should have the game killed off but murdered two tries and gifted Ireland one.

    Ireland showing some grit.

    Brilliant from Connors.

Was lightning fast to pressure Dupont.

I'm not getting all this hatred for JGP, he's by far the best 9 on show today

This is some arm wrestle to be fair.

I never want to see JGP in an Ireland jersey again. Shocking performance.

    Ah come on?
Defensively suspect and a lot of poor kicks. Quick at the breakdown but after that?

He is better than Murray though.

Just out of curiosity what’s your view on
    Murray’s performances since 2018?

I think it’s refreshing not to see the ball booted away aimlessly from every ruck.

Lads rugby fans a bit dramatic. Guy has a bad game.

Never want to see them again . Lol.

Mad stuff..lads with very little experience out there.

No idea why anyone is calling for a young 9 who has a handful of caps for his province to be brought in for the dying minutes of a 2 point game.

We seen the abuse Billy Burns got in a clutch game against Wales when he made mistakes, why would you want to subject a young player to that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

People giving out about JGP and then he does that. :)

    So much kicking from Eire

Why is our strategy to kick.

    We've handed possession back twice

Just booted away every second ruck

Autumn and last week Murray was as good as he’s been in ages

JGP doesn’t start for his province! Casey deserves a shot here to change things up just as much as JGP had a shot

We're kicking because we don't have any shape ball in hand.

Gibson-Park making fools of the teeth gnashers on here.

I'm new to rugby, how many points do you get for each garryowen?

Ruddock and Stander still working hard after 80 mins.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Pearce is letting far too much go at rucks. Dillane and Stander both had hands on there and were getting battered.

And doesn't step inside so it's a turnover with 2 left
