    Hi
Have a ageing but expensive-at-the-time Yamaha RX-V4600 AV amp that is now approaching 15. Sound is still super through B&W M1 satellites + B&W Sub.
However technology is outdated and it's not family friendly, and very bulky.

Speakers still A1, so just want a quality sounding AV amp for 5.1, no other speakers will ever be fitted for this. Source is all TV, movies, Netflix, etc and if possible (but not critical) networked with other amazon music (alexa) music devices in the house.
TV is LG 55" OLED supplied by yourselves last year

Budget not a problem, but no point going all-out on a bells & whistles system that will never be used. All about the sound quality.
Thinking along lines of Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, but open to options

    All thoughts welcome.

    Hi FortyPlus.

Thanks for coming back to us again :)

At the moment the starting point would be the Yamaha YHT2071 priced at £299

It then jumps to the Marantz NR1510 at £449

Also the Onkyo TxL50 priced at £449

Jumping to the NR1510 will also allow for Alexa integration.
It also has Heos built in which can pair up with your Amazon music account.

We are also due a very very small quantity of the Yamaha RXV4 priced at £449 the first two weeks of march
