Euro vs GBP Pricing for ROI delivery

    Hi folks,

Looking at picking up a new TV from your good selves, and while I know previously for delivery to ROI it made no difference (other than GBP incurring a delivery fee) whether one paid in GBP or EUR, and I've seen it mentioned on other threads that you're taking care of customs/tariffs/etc. post-Brexit (so the price seen is the price paid, as it were).  However, I just want to double check before I'd make any purchase that this is all still true for both currencies, and that this statement isn't exclusive to the EUR prices that might be aimed at the ROI market?

I ask as one TV I'm looking at works out markedly cheaper in GBP pricing on the website, even allowing for paid delivery, but this wouldn't really be the case were the GBP pricing to attract additional fees on import, in fact EUR might even work out cheaper at that point.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you pay in GBP and get the lower price? If so I'd use transferwise.

I've no issue in using Revolut or similar to get an efficient rate on the GBP price, and that's not really the question I'm asking.  Rather I'm looking to confirm that there's no difference in handling on the RS side of things across the two currencies, as regardless of the logistics of how I'd fund the GBP price, the simple fact is that if it were to attract extra fees from customs/revenue, then it just may not be a lower price.

    Hi Guys,

thanks for the posts - we ship from Ireland only now so all our pricing is duty paid.

If you elect to pay in sterling then generally there is an additional £6.99 delivery charge.

Hope that's helpful but as ever keep us posted if we can ever assist in any way,

    ATVB,

    John Mc & Crew

Thanks, John, that's exactly what I was hoping to hear :)

I was aware of GBP pricing carrying the £6.99 delivery fee and as mentioned I was allowing for that in my calculations, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any nasty surprises - I didn't expect I was given your reputation, but if I didn't ask I'd only have myself to blame!
