Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm a bit bored at the moment... looking for a project always toyed with idea of making a weed licker

What would be the consensus on the best home made set-up?

I'm handy with a welder just need a design.. I don't want pumps or batteries etc as the costs just mount up and buying one would then make more sense ..
I dont mind spending a few quid on a robust design.

Are motor cycle hubs wheels easy to come by and weld/bolt to axle etc..
    or is there an alternative...

    Any pictures would be appreciated

What about the possibility of mounted to the 3 point. Linkage. Could give the option to maybe 3 booms to allow you to cover a larger area quicker

Thanks , You could but any bumps or gradient could cause it to tilt at ends and dig into ground or raise up too high..

I was looking on some uk forums and believe that the c-dax(?) type may be the best option..

Loads of different types on done deal. Have a double roller here that was bought about 7yrs ago, where by there are 2 rollers with a carpet on it about 4ft apart, so the rushes get a double dose. Looks a bit like bridgeway engineering design, galvanised type. If I was making one I would try and have a spring or shock absorber on it. As it's very hard on the frame if the land is rutted/bumpy and the weather dry. Have had to strengthen the frame in a number of places. Flat land is grand, bumpy takes a pounding
