Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if this is the right forum for this query but I was wondering would anyone know if you need to replace a a PVC gutter bracket would you have to remove the whole gutter or is it straightforward just replacing the bracket with the gutter in place? This is the bracket https://www.screwfix.ie/p/floplast-square-line-union-bracket-114mm-white/16753 I might need to seek assistance if it's an arduous task.

You need to pop the length of gutter out of the brackets amd joiners, screw in new bracket and pop back in gutter. Sometimes the seals on the joiner pieces and corner pieces don't re-seal and need a bead of silicone.

Thanks Paul. Would I be better off getting a pro in to do it?. I wouldn't want to make a baggsy of it myself.

If you have a ladder and a head for heights give it a go, worst that can happen is that you call someone in anyway (and its not a hard job, depending on the heights involved)

If you dont have a step off for your ladder it can be a bit more awkward depending on the heights involved.

Yeah its fairly simple but so is anything once you have done it a few times. Like greebo says it all boils down to how comfortable you are on a ladder.

And always get someone to foot the ladder :)
