Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi - can anyone suggest a way to backup an Alcatel phone with a broken screen? Screen doesn't seem to be working at all and the repair place websites who do fix Alcatels say they will wipe the phone during any repair.

I'm wondering how to get contacts etc off the phone without being able to use the screen.

Your contacts should have synced to Google Contacts with the email you have signed in to.

    Check out https://contacts.google.com to confirm.

A shop that fixes them on the spot won't wipe it if you ask, any of the online places probably will they're meant to for gdpr reasons.

Google Contacts are empty, they must be stored in the Alcatel contacts app. Phone is an Alcatel 3v.

Yea you'll need to fix it yourself if your confident parts and tools maybe €35 or take it to a repair shop don't give them the phone until the part is in stock, probably looking €70 to €100.

Can you access the Alcatel contacts online? Have you tried contacting it to a PC to see if you can get the data from it?
