Laptop recommendation

Hi, looking to get a new laptop around the 500ish mark. Was looking at both of these. Any recommendations or is there anything better out there in this range? Will mainly be used for assignments, general browsing, netflix.
The sooner it can be got the better.

Hi Glasso, I need a new laptop, have an aged Teclast F5 which was brilliant but I noticed it getting a bit sluggish and the small form factor keyboard is a pain, will do one of the kids...
