Has anyone bought this? Free modem and 750GB a month allowance for €29.99? you get the Huawei E5576 modem free.

I have landline but only get speeds of 6mb download. Have ordered this as a trial. Interested to see any other comments Sorry if this has been asked before, I went back the last 10 pages and couldn’t find it

Living in a fairly isolated place me, landlord and another tenant.

Nearest houses are around 100 meters down hill east and 500 meters down hill west

Previous broadband from a local company was touching 5MBs download and 1MBs upload

Got this a week ago as other tenant got it too. Placed the modem on the top window facing the antenna's and getting easily 50 MBs download and around 15 MBs upload.

Getting higher speeds I had with Eir in town with fibre so pretty delighted

I am not paying anything, The Company I work for has provided them to me, I have no idea what the monthly cost is, All I know is that they work until I use 500gb and I have 3 of them.

    I have this

Not that its making a diff now that we have hit the 750mb and speeds are severely restricted.

Does anyone know if Three have restrictions after a certain usage. Thinking to pick up a spare sim

Three PAYG phone SIM doesn't seem to throttle at all....although congestion could be an issue at peak times.

Do you have it on the outside of your house or the attic? Aren't these illegal in ROI?

They're not illegal, if they were then the mobile networks couldn't install them either.
