If you can sell it for €950 and you don't need it then I would. Wouldn't be worth that price normally but market is screwed right now

If you want it and can afford it, just get it. What do you want to hear?

I sold something similar for 750: same CPU, similar MoBo, 32GB RAM 3000, and 1080Ti.

To be fair, 1080ti is a completely different animal. I think he's selling because he said buyer wants €950 but that might have been a mistake on his part

The ram is slow for a Z board with K processor. The cooler is also cheap for a K cpu. A 500GB hard disk is bonkers to be honest. I don't know the power supply and the case is kinda expensive compared to the rest! It's a bunch of generations back and no upgrade path.

With that sort of budget I'd either try and find a gpu and then build something new with the remainder or just look at the stuff in the Dell outlet. https://www.dell.com/en-ie/outlet

so its obsolete really, once again Dell looks like better option

It is obsolete. Not a "bad" PC but no way I'd drop 1K on that. The i7-6700 is the same as a new i3-10100F which costs €80 and there are no upgrade options either.

Dell have a G5 for €880 with 8GB ram, i5-10400F (way better CPU) and GTX1660 (similar to 1070Ti). Much better base. Throw in another 8GB ram for €50 and for €930 you have a pretty solid machine that's decent value in these times.

There really is no need to buy overpriced 2nd hand PC's at this stage when pre-builts are available at fairly decent prices if you shop around.

I would go amd for some better upgrade options maybe up the ram to 3200

Actually, even prebuilt like Dell for same price is better option then over priced old pc. Both don't have much upgrade path, but with New Dell, you at least get warranty amd brand new components, not years old that can go any minute now.

Are you actually joking at this stage, where are you finding this stuff?

€1400 for that PC goes beyond taking the piss and enters mentally unsound territory. And when you consider it's all 2nd hand with no warranty, not to mention old stuff as well.

Just buy something new and be done with it I think. Even something like this is fairly decent. All standard off the shelf parts as well, no custom boards, power supplies or anything else.

Thanks for the link. Ill go with something like it.

Custom builds will come when GPU market improves.
