fair few lads suffering, and showing it too...tough stuff

Clever by DQS to send their strongest squad (bar JA) and give MVDP and WVA a good going over today before Flanders, leaving JA fresh for next week.

I have to watch E3. No choice, I can take no more of Kirby.

Dan in the leading group of 13 in Catalunya, along with Uran, Kruijswijk.
Looks like they will contest the finish as a sprint.

E3 was/is live on the Eurosport app ad-free all day.

But in terms of not being able to stick Kirby, you're going from the frying pan into the fire with Dumb and Dumber at E3.

Adam Blyth is a revelation on commentary. Love listening to him.

5k to go, hard to see VDP win this after all the work he's done, some man if he does

Yeah it would be incredible. Some effort for Asgreen to go again after his earlier break.

Yeah, cheering and a bit of shelter! DQS have given the big two a good going over today.

The attack on the climb the whole team put in was something else. Worth looking back at it on the player.

The perfect team win today. Incredible stuff by Asgreen and the DQT lads. Love WVA v MVDP but nice to see they can be beaten too

Anyone else love how E3 turns out of the town centre and ends in some suburban housing estate

  • Registered Users Posts: 245 ✭✭Oymyakon

Was surprised WvA blew up when he did, he's a mere mortal after all. Really looking forward to the big one next weekend.

Savage racing & a well deserved win for DQS. YVS must be one to watch for the next races, looked like he had really good legs today.

Yeah was thinking the exact same, there's another one that ends in a housing estate aswell. That usually comes to a bunch finish I think??? Possibly the same road.

I know there is one that ends outside the local town cycling heros house and another I think it was LBL that was rerouted for the 80s to finish in some industrial estate that houses the sponsors offices

I highly recommend "The Beast the Emperor and the Milkman" by the way. The author can get a little too snooty middle class English at times about the Belgians but for the history of Belgian cycling and the classics it is excellent

E3 is or was a motorway. Or a road route or something like that. Harelbeke is the town.
