Amstel Gold today, different to usual as it's a little shorter and is being run over laps.

Women's race earlier was exciting enough from what I saw of it for the last few laps and came down to a reduced sprint with Vos taking it.

Vos almost did a Vollering on the line there.

Just thinking there haven't heard Rob Hatch on Eurosport in about a month now I think. I know he was doing commentary for Flanders Classics on their international feed and not the Eurosport/GCN ones. Jose Been seems to be calling the races on Eurosport he'd normally call.

Speaking of commentators, I think the current 2 (Dan Lloyd & Adam Blythe) doing Amstel are my favourite Eurosport combo at the moment. Of course, it's easy for new commentators to sound fresh and interesting as you haven't listened to them for 100+ hours saying the same things over and over again.

Edit: Ooops! It's Matt Stephens with Adam Blythe. Sounded like Dan Lloyd to me when I switched it on. Dan & Adam are still my favourite 2. Matt rising up the ranks quickly.

Michael Matthews looks like he has huge shoulders compared to the othe riders (maybe it's just the jersey!)

They don't use that angle as closest rider to camera will always seem ahead when it's down to mere millimetres.

Never mind who won... Look at Adam Blythe's jacket :pac:

Did my internet cut off or did Eurosport just cut broadcasting before any photo was shown?
