Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop screen flickering, Help/Advice?

I bought a cheap HP laptop in November.
It's no frills and it suits me for my use.
I also recently got a new bed which is very bouncy and it slipped off and had a very minor fall.
A few hours later I noticed my screen flickering.
I can use Boards, Twitter, Street view, etc no problem but the issue happens when I have to play a video or a video starts play in a pop up add?
Was it the fall or could it be a Windows 10 issue?
    Any advice?

pretty much impossible to say for sure but most likely an internal connection to the screen has been damaged

could try opening it up but the damage may not be apparent even then

it's an annoying one but unless you go for the cost of repair you're stuck with it

other option is to try to claim on the warranty if no physical damage obvious but then you'll have to send / give back laptop

less movements on the bed in the future that may cause laptop bouncing
