A rough night just off the south coast. I dont usually include Kinsale energy as its on a platform but it was gusting 133 km/h at 10pm with a mean speed of 106km/h.

pretty tame affair here in Mayo, infact very quite.

Fastnet had a gust of 78 knts an hour ago.

Beautiful night here in Celbridge. Breezy but mild and dry. Out on my long walk now and there's a nice glow from Dublin lights in the mid-level cloud to my east. Perfect night for a walk at the moment.

Anyone know what time the winds will abate? Pretty rough on the wexford coast at the moment. Worried the roof will breach the 5km travel restrictions if it gets any worse.

Pretty strong gusts here on the south coast near Kinsale. The only storms I can think of in the last few years with wind that felt this strong were Ellen and Ophelia, both of which were red. The difference with them is the winds were far more sustained unlike this one (it really should have a name) which is quite gusty.

I was out driving just an hour ago. Lots of debris on the roads but no trees down near me (yet).

Strong breeze to near gale in North Kildare with gale force 8 gusts and outbreaks of light rain.

In short, a typical wet and windy night in this part of the country and not untypical for the time of year.

    Even shorter.....a miserable night!

Strong winds now in cork city, they are more Persistent then earlier. Absolutely miserable night!

I did miss falling asleep to the sound of a storm though :)

Absolute dead here now and has been for a while. My own weather station is out of action so I have no readings. I'm doubt we passed 110km/hr today but that's only going by experience.

    113 km/hr gusting 141 at Kinsale energy. (144 at 01z) ...

114 km/hr gusts at Sherkin, storm max on land (met.ie stations) so far is 117 at Roches Point at 9 pm.

Where wind has dropped off in Connacht, expect rather sudden ramping up around 0200h when trough moves inland and sharp pressure rises begin. The south coast windstorm will slowly moderate towards morning. Sudden increases likely to hit central Leinster about 0400h.

It's picked up now in Rathdrum in Wicklow, must get weather station, I reckon there are strong gusts now, but windy says up to 50/60 knot gusts for the middle of the night

53kts at Waterford Airport, 1 more to get to 100 kph :p
