Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm getting root canal treatment next week. I dont have a medical card. The treatment will hurt almost as much as the bill will hurt my wallet.

Must dash now. I've got one of those 'jobs' things that people sometimes have.

On the very odd occasion I goes to the local doctor (I have to pay), the waiting room over the years is mostly medical cards. They have the card, they go down if their kid has a sniffle or they woke up with a rotten hangover. Any old excuse.

My son needed a dentist so I rang the school as I thought he is on the school dentist list

    Loads of other quare illnesses.

Weeks in a hospital and I couldn’t walk, Joe, but I went to London to see the doctor and then I rang out of munny and I’m on disability

If they take out 10 teeth it means 10 won't have any need for fillings ever again.

I go to a doctor who does not take medical cards

why should I queue behind people who are paying nothing?

There should be a nominal fee for everyone imo.
You think it's bad here.....you should see what it's like in NI.

70 euro for a tooth removal is really cheap?!? If your on a medical card you don't have to pay anything down here?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,920 ✭✭✭The Floyd p

She'd rather lose a few teeth rather than pay to get fillings. My word

Tie a string around the tooth, the other end around a door knob, down the 40 bottles of vodka then slam the door.
