Our broadband went down for four days in Feb, eir came out fixed it (issue was down the road apparently) technician spent an hour up the pole and then came into house to test it and all was ok when he left. Since then, service keeps dropping…

Hi

I have 500mb with eir and up to a few weeks back have had very few issues.
Our broadband went down for four days in Feb, eir came out fixed it (issue was down the road apparently) technician spent an hour up the pole and then came into house to test it and all was ok when he left. Since then, service keeps dropping during the day and each evening religiously, without exception we lose all service completely from about 5.30/6pm. It seems to come back at some poit during the night. Have put in a call and eir due out again next day or two but anyone got any idea what could be causing this? Its as if someone is switching the service off every evening!
