Aerator for tractor lawnmower

I had a friend who is a gardener look at my lawn and recommended an aerator. Have circa an acre lawn so not a manual job. I was thinking about buying one to pull behind the tractor mower which has a connection etc. Just wondering has anyone bought one and if they are good? Was looking at something like this?…

I know I can rent but the rental cost is not much less than to buy plus I have a shed to store etc so will be cheaper just to buy and keep.
