Why is that not a penalty

The pre-match analysis on RTE highlighted the good form of TOB in the opening fixtures. I hope he can keep it up and also have an injury free run. He's a potential Champions Cup starter when fully fit.

    Right on cue.

    Tommy that's spectacular

How many times are we going to let Edinburgh just walk through the middle and take the ball?

Ben Healy is having a bit of a mare this half.

You’d be raging at this if you were an Edinburgh fan. 7-3 down after dominating possession and then mess up the restart.

Jack Boyle reminds me of Jack McGrath at times, albeit not as bulky (yet).

Didn't lead to a try, but that was an excellently worked set piece move from Leinster.

Another good set piece love leads to an Edinburgh yellow.

Tbf to Harry Byrne he has been on it this afternoon.

Edinburgh have consistently infringed near their line this evening and should have been carded again.

Beautiful pass from Harry for that try.

Edinburgh gifting this to Leinster with their discipline.

Who's the 8 for Leinster? Is that Culhane? Having a good game.

Embrace should have had another man binned just before HT

Byrne looking good out there, lovely pass to hit Frawley for that last try. Culhane looking up for it as well. Foley crisp enough from the base of the ruck and TOB the other standout from the backs.

What's that, two charge downs, one missed penalty touch and a restart on the full from Healy? He's been solid from the tee (admittedly small sample size), so maybe it's just the effect of the wind, but it's hardly inspiring confidence so far.

A missed touch and two kicks out in the full. Healy is really struggling with Edinburgh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,414 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Just do something there Foley, anything. Don't just stand there looking around the place.

That's excellent from Ngatai and Barron.

    Great try for TOB.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That's poor though.

Bad cover defence after a big kick from Osborne.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Oh Jordan.

Zero pressure to catch that. Could've even let that bounce.

Bit of an overzealous celebration from Laing.

Big Duhan doing a big vanishing act ... again.

Those tries at Twickenham papered over the ever widening cracks

Ben Healy needs to be subbed off.

Missed touch twice from penalties and kicked out on the full twice as well. Been terrible.

Healy has had a terrible day. Edinburgh in general have been terrible.

    TOB looks excellent.

I don’t know exactly what the ref is seeing in these scrums but i think a different one would have given Edinburgh way more. Boyle hits the ground first most of the time, elbow down. Usually that’s a prime indicator that you will get pinged.

Two butchered opportunities of a try there for Ediburgh. They may yet score, but that's criminal.

Larmour's handling has been poor today.

Letting Edinburgh get anything out of this game - let alone losing it which isn't beyond the realms of possibility - would be very irritating.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,152 ✭✭✭blackdog1

Prendergast would want to learn to tackle.

Who got homme du match? Probably Barron or Culhane, was it?

Got to love the way TOB throws himself in the tackle and puts himself about, to go along with his pace and other attributes. Will be in the mix for the matchday 23 for the big games imo.
