Is there a charge for cancelling a direct debit?

    As above. I have advised the company and they have acknowledged it but said I may wish to cancel it also with BOI. 
    I can cancel it online, but would like to know if cancellation incurs a charge.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

    You can certainly cancel your direct debit by logging into the app, select payments and then direct debits. There will not be any charge for cancelled a direct debit on your personal current account.
