Repairing a scratched porcelain tile

Looking for advice on removing scratch marks from a polished porcelain tile. It was my fault-sanding something without covering the floor properly (lazy bollocks here used newspaper to protect the tiles :o), the tile got a few rubs from a 220 grit sanding block:

the marks are not too deep, its only the glaze that seems to be scuffed. Looking about online there are polishing compounds available, can anyone recommend one? Ideally one I could pick up from a builders providers, tile merchant or the like.

    Thank you.

i would look at car detailing places and the motor factors.
look for products like scratch x for polishing out scuffs from car paint or a kit to restoring head lights.

Great idea. Think I have some T-cut in the shed, cant make it any worse.

How did a sanding block cut up a porcelain tile. I would have thought that wasn't possible for porcelain. Maybe there's a finish on it ?

The cure could be worse than the problem
