It's pretty standard to report name and address of people in articles about court cases.

The only law they broke was not giving their names and addresses.

The national broadcaster then reported it in their main page.

    That's not normal

They appeared in court charged with crimes.

Pretty standard for their names to reported in the story.

Just today there was a story about a fella appearing in court on a public order offence completely unrelated to any protest and his name was printed.

Your assertion that naming those appearing in court isn't normal is rubbish

Laughable to hear that fucwit Paul Murphy on radio spouting rubbish.

He doesn't want construction to restart where you might have 10 - 50 people on a wide open outdoor site, but he encourages people to gather in the hundreds and thousands to protest and shout slogans/ obscenities.

    What a hypocritical fool

Then is assumption that 35 cases a week amongst construction workers leads for 150 case a week in their homes - made up BULLSH1T

Why do fools give this mouthpiece eejit a vote?

    You're right.

I'd say 35 cases from construction workers would lead to way more than 150 cases within a week.

Some people involved in these protests, I quote some people not all of them, just want to watch the world burn. They get geed up by unrest and a chance to start a riot. The main reason the protest started is often just hijacked to feed their lust of chaos.

    Dan.

So the r level of construction workers would be 5x and everyone else 0.8-1x?

    Please explain?

If their R Rate is 1

They give it to another 35. 70 cases.

Who give it to another 70. 140 cases.

Who give it to another 140. 280 cases.

    Etc.

The kids will be going to school, the parents will be socialising.......... you're naïve to think that just because the "R Rate" is 1 that the spread stops at one!

While i do not agree with these protests i seen an arrest in Temple Bar just now.
I am thinking a few Gardai need review how they do the job.
I am sure video will find way into mass media as they always do....
