There's a huge amount of interest in current affairs, society, and politics at the moment. What books have to read that you would recommend to the fellow readers of this forum? Either something you are reading at the moment, or a book that has had a profound impact on you?

    I'm just after finishing this:

It's a wonderful book about the split between the Stickies and the Provos, and how the Official IRA decided to double down on socialist principles. Featuring Eamon McCann, Tony Gregory, Charlie Bird, Eoghan Harris, Gerry Adams. It culminates with the Democratic Left becoming part of the Rainbow Coalition.

    What are your recommendations?
