FFUUUUUKING toxic community. Selling 250k of Bunker goods, thought i was on a solo public lobby but then saw 4 other people after I started sell mission. Boom, one of them straight over to me in his chopper and blows me up, 250k worth of stock gone. What a sickner, that actually puts me off even doing sell missions tbh. Will make sure I'm in solo lobbies for the next ones.

Set that MTU lower to 700-750.

    Red dead does it right.

    1. Nothing flies so that's easier.
    2. You don't show up on each other maps until very close practically shooting distance.
    3. Hostile players show up on others mini maps from a greater range.

Did countless sell missions on RDO and there's no solo lobby method in that and I've had 1 instance of other players attacking.

Hopefully for GTA 6's version or the PS5/Series X update they take some of the things from things from RDO.

Change how and what homing rockets can lock onto, or have a small lock area.

Copy the map player reveal system, and maybe make crouching do something for players.

Maybe just have long range map for things that could have radar.

If you quit the game via the ps4/xbox menu quickly after getting destroyed it usually doesn't count. So when you log back in you'll get the message that you didn't complete your last sell mission but you'll only be missing 15% of your stock instead of the whole lot.

Got sick of doing the biker sell missions so had my first attempt at Cayo Perico and made a mess of it. Couldn't find how to get onto the island and when I did everyone was hostile. Eventually got to the part with the finger print mini game and couldn't tell the difference between the pictures so just gave up.

Stick at it, watch a couple of YouTube videos and you will soon know the routes to take and where the guards spawn. Will be making a fortune in no time.

You've plenty of time so don't rush yourself. Best method I found of doing it (not the quickest mind) is set each part of the finger print as the very top part, then press right however many times as there are amount of parts to match. Can't remember off the top of my head, but if there's 6 parts to match, the top one doesn't move, press right twice for the 2nd, three times for the 3rd etc.

You'll eventually get the hang of it and speed through it.

As said though, there's plenty of walkthroughs of the whole heist from the very beginning on YT so keep at it. You'll fly through after a couple of runs.

Setting up the casino heist, Jesus there's a lot of stuff going on. I did a quick Google and you can do missions to unlock better characters. I need a terrorbyte for Paige and need to destroy 50 signal jammers for Avi, the other hackers are shyte apparently. I went with The Big Con, any setup tips to go with?

Cayo is way more straight forward.

Big Con for a first timer I'd go with the cheapest of everything (guns/getaway) and Paige as hacker as she gives you more time in the vault. I'd also go with the armoured bank truck setup as it eases you into the heist. A simple in, a relatively straightforward out.

I'd also look at collecting the playing cards, as it gives you an easy escape costume that is always available.

you should get either paige or avi
gruppe sechs entry for big con , this means you need to photo the tunnel behind the casino in scope out mission
    firefighters exit disguise
always get level 2 security passes

patrol routes ,security passes and exit disguise are the only optional preps you need to do for big con ,you'll need to keep stealth in the heist though

always call lester to remove wanted level, don't always work though

always cheapest guns and car for big con and use helicopter to escape

Good night tonight with Eoin and Dread. 2 Cayo runs back to back and then they helped me sell full stock of coke and meth for 800k and 600k. Sold my bunker for 120k and then Sold 800k of nightclub stock after that. Handy money and good laughs.

Yeah especially by doing the MTU trick, selling was much easier. Dunno if it would make sense to allocate a day every week where people could do the MTU trick and then do all their selling in the one session.

Yupp, I'd be on for doing a sell mission with anyone when needed, on most nights. I think the MC sales are only worth it during double money though unless you are constantly stealing supplies. I think I'll just let my bunker get full with buying supplies and then see if anyone is free to give a hand with it. At least the nightclub can be done solo. Pity the MC stuff isn't worth it anymore, they can be fun.

I don't have casino done yet, I think it has to be cash first and then can be other loot. Must try get it out of the way so I can do it for the diamonds. They worth a bit more I'm guessing.

Yeah I finished casino heist scope out and it was just cash

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,536 ✭✭✭✭Varik

The options for the casino heist aren't all available for your first attempt, and then the loot options are random even for diamond weeks then it's only a chance.

People should buy the penthouse for the casino, the missions give 50k each in addition to the normal completion which is 3x this week for doing them the first time.

And then if you complete all of them you can get

"Cashing Out" award + $100,000 (if completed for the first time)

    • "Lucky Lucky" award + $50,000 (by completing a single Casino Story Mission without dying)

    • "Straight" award + $500,000 (by completing all Casino Story Missions in order, for the first time)

    • "Top Pair" award + $100,000 (by completing all Casino Story Missions as Crew Member, for the first time)

    • "Full House" award + $100,000 (by completing all Casino Story Missions as Leader/Host, for the first time)

More than pays for the 900k for the penthouse, and you also get a free weaponized armoured car.

Never realised the time trials each week give 100k each. Must start doing them.

If anyone's about, I'm gonna run the Casino Heist (Silent and Sneaky) for artwork in about 5 mins... Dreadaxe is on board, so space for 2 more if you're free.

Went back to Cayo, mangaged to get my hands on weed. Success! Well, I thought it was! Got over $100k worth into my bag, only to decrease in value as a result of getting shot at. Probably had over €80k before getting onto my boat. I eventually ended up with nothing due to being pursued by a heli and a gunboat finishing me. I went from :D -> :) -> :( ->

Anyway, fcuk you Cayo. You bought me nothing but pain. I would much rather dip my flute into a jar of acid than go back to you.

From those amounts you didn't fill the bag?

Gunboats aren't much of an issue on their own, and the helicopters can either be removed by doing a setup mission & planting C4 on the bosses helicopter and then detonating it after he starts chasing after you.

The heist can be done very smoothly without ever being seen and getting away without a shot ever being fired at you.

I didn't get to fill the bag as I was getting shot at, so I decided to get out there while I could.

The whole thing was a disaster from day one really. I'm pissed off with myself and how I went about it, but I have moved on from it.

I've gone into the weapons making business and gone back to money laundering so that will keep me ticking over until I decide what to do next. Onwards and upwards.

Boom! Just got a nice $500,000 and in game items.

BTW, can someone help me setup a heist over the weekend? Lester is calling me about one.

You should youtube a stealth way of doing it, by doing the kosatka vehicle setup and scoping the drainage tunnel you can easily do the whole thing without being spotted, plenty videos about which will show you loot spots and where the guards spawn. Once you do it once or twice you'll know it like back of your hand and can make a fortune.

Thanks dude. I'll take a look at what heists I can do. As for Cayo, I'm putting it behind me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,889 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

I tend to just do the heists once or maybe twice, I just stock up on ammo and go after other players and troll them like blocking them into shops etc unless they are doing a mission or selling stock. I hate the whole having to graft hours to make money. I get the free 200k each week with prime gaming which is handy

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,953 ✭✭✭✭Jordan 199

I had a good time yesterday selling weapons. Out in my buggy dropping mines resulting in enemies getting blown up. It was good.

It would be nice if my weapon making and laundering businesses could make money while offline.

Got $500k deposited to my account when I logged on today, I assume it's for the stunts back a couple weeks ago.
