That was a very tight round. There's a wonderfully weird one coming up now. My new fave.

Too late for me to vote in this one I think, but I do really like that Amapa flag. One of the nicest ones yet in this competition.

A rare all silky affair for y'all

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,835 ✭✭✭ari101

    1. Imbabura - simple but nice
    2. Maule - a solidly built crest
    3. Táchira - I find the pictures on the black background fade but it is a nice flag
    4. Goiás - a bit garish

Goiás Its like a micky take of the stars and stripes and I dont find that unpleasing
Maule A tree and book its interesting.

Imbabura Reminds me of Liberia (I could be way off)

Táchira Colours are wrong, it washes out the centre bit

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

    1: Imbabura - just lovely

2: Táchira - little bit dark but still like it. & it looks like mustard here but I think even if were yellow in the flesh, it wouldn't bother me because it would brighten it up a bit

3: Maule - crest is a tad simple but at least it has a story to tell

4: Goiás - its not too bad. I don't like the yellow, makes it look tacky. But stars and stripes are fine with me..

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,925 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

Goiás - the United States of Donegal :D
Táchira - nice use of black, an underrepresented colour
Imbabura - the blue jars a little but it's quite good
Maule - every individual element is crap

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

Goiàs isn't great as a silky. Looks like a candy wrapper.

Be a it better if it were in cotton. Or whatever the material of a non silky flag is..

I quite enjoy the love for the stars and stripes theme so on that basis...
