Rondonia. I'm still all heraldic-lioned-out from the European flags tourney.

Santiago de Chile (CHI) Lion shield, crown all that's missing is a boat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,047 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

Rondonia all day. The other is no better than a standard GAA flag.

    Santiago de Chile

I'm a sucker for rampant lions. The lion traditionally symbolises courage, nobility, royalty, strength, stateliness and valour,

    I love the colours also

The plan is to get the rest of Round 2 finished this evening. That’s around 10 matches in total so check back after 8PM and we’ll get going.

Vargas (VEN) its jolly. Unusual and yet it works well as a flag.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,786 ✭✭✭KathleenGrant

Vargas for me, like the colours even if the sun is a little glum looking.

    San José (URU)

Too much white on the other makes it very bland

San José ; stands out more, more appealing on the eye

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,786 ✭✭✭KathleenGrant

San José more colourful. Don't like the other, too much white.

The South Americans really love sun don't they?

Loja (ECU), nice symmetry, the other is pretty unremarkable

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,270 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

    Loja

The other one is just way too wavy. (I know that's not the point, but feck it!)

Loja (ECU) like an EU theme to it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,825 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

Itapua - I can't really tell whats on the crest and google isn't any more helpful, but it think its mountains and a river bank. I like the green, white and red and from what I can see, I like the crest too so that gets the vote

Coquimbo (CHI) Crazy but it works

Santa Cruz looks like some sort of chocolate sundae

    Santa Cruz for me.
Looks tidier and white and blue is a combination that I like.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

    Coquimbo, because its mad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,786 ✭✭✭KathleenGrant

Coquimbo totally different so I'm giving it the thumbs up for originality.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,825 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

snowy mountains, with a fiery sun, wild sea and sometimes nice-mostly not nice, blue

    or the windows logo. hmmm

Santa Cruz I suppose. but neither are classy enough for my sophisticated taste :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,047 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

    Both excellent flags.

Santa Cruz gets my vote, I just think it flows a bit better than Coquimbo, the setting sun into the waves under a blue sky is a nice image.
