Coquimbo have loved this since you first post it in the playoffs, so unusual. Very striking layout, different from the normal stripes, squares and postage stamp in the left hand corner we usually see. I love this flag.

Suriname very traditional layout and of course the star. But I love the colours and the white outline/separation between green and red makes it very a winner for me.

Both of the flags in Match 53 are excellent for me. Roraima has a nice mix of colours that work well together, though I'm not convinced by the red line.

Coquimbo is really original though it maybe doesn't flow as well, it's kind of like two flags stitched together.

But because the red line messes up the other one a bit I'll go for Coquimbo.

In the second match definitely Suriname, one of the nicest country flags around.

Cojedes - unusual colour mix but it works.

Santa Cruz - lovely flag and the one it's up against is very plain.

Arequipa - can't see it too well but I don't like the other one anyway

Santa Cruz - That's making me not hate the blue so much anymore because its nicely proportioned. not sure why there is snowy mountains and a big heavy sun there but sure..

Cojedes I do like heraldry on flags but it's too obvious on the arequipa flag. The colours on cojedes are unusual but work well together. Striking!



Santa Cruz have not checked the symbolism of most of these flags, am waiting till Round 2 or 3. But this looks so like the representation of a country- sky, sun, sea, stars, mountains. I really like this flag.

Paraná - I prefer the diagonal here to the stripes on the other one.
Monagas - tough call, both nice, but this one is very original whereas the other looks like quite a few South American national flags.
