    Hi all. Good evening....

Can 1 of you lend us a hand please.

A good friend of mine is looking now to get water into a mobile home (static) but....we are unsure (well we no idea ) were the mains pipe or mains stop cock is on the road side.
Without digging the whole road up...lol... Is there an easy way of locating the stop cock so we can find out were it runs to on the field.?

Would the council or ordance survey map or land registry have maps to were mains water lines would lie at road side.?

    Thanks all.

    Tricky one giesha.
Maybe contact your local water works caretaker (from local authority) or manager of group water scheme if that is what is in operation.

Stop cocks usually have metal covers at ground level. If you borrowed or hired a metal detector, you might find it if there's one there.

The waterworks caretaker will probably have one anyway.
