Not bad with having Raphinha and Bamford. Although if Dallas had scored there, would have been even better

Flip flopped all week between Bamford and Antonio... seems I flipped when I should have flopped

    FT 2-1

A good night for Bamford and Raphina owners. Sheffield United at home is their next fixture too so hopefully more returns there. After that they head into a tough run of City, Liverpool, United

9 from Raphinha and Maja, who has contributed nothing since I brought him as my cheap striker.

Didn't use the FT, so am aiming to bring in Christensen and Iheanacho for Holgate and Maja for next week, injuries picked up in FA Cup not withstanding

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 849 ✭✭✭IrishLad90

Scorned after missing the deadline, wanted Raphina in... I have Bamford so that saves something for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,314 ✭✭✭Xander10

8 pm Saturday is a long wait to the next game.

With Fulham losing, you would think 0-0 wouldn't be the worst result for Brighton & Newcastle, would put them 3 pts clear of the drop zone with a game in hand on Fulham. It might be a cagey affair.

Looking around my leagues, I really need Newcastle to score. Lots of Brighton defensive double and treble ups

I would still think Antonio has a chance of getting something. A West Ham team with something to fight for against an Arsenal team with nothing really to play for.

Bamford seemed to have very few shots and involvement yet he managed to come away with a goal an assist. It was an odd game imo. Plus Fulham can feel a bit hard done by.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Id want Newcastle to avoid the drop, there is a lot of relatable history behind the gates of st James'

A lot of Newcastle fans still want them to be relegated in the hope that Ashley leaves?

    Dunk (c) here.

I don’t think you can call those true fans then.

    Dunk (c) here.

There are two of us at least! :D

    Treble Brighton defence as well.
    High stakes for me tomorrow.

21 from bam raph and Dallas nice start as nearly benched bamford

I dunno they seem to consider themselves the 'true' fans. Saying Ashley is using the club as a glorified advertising hoarding. Plus is unwilling to invest in the club to try and bring it to the next level. Happy just for the club to do enough type of thing.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Serious cojones! Just treble defence for me, first time ever in fpl. I'll be on the whiskey tomorrow evening.

29 from Bamford Dallas and Raphinha (C). Pleased to see Raphinha score as he looked like he wasn't going to much for a while. Hewt as it gives me some protection now going into next 3 games.

    10 (-4) from 2. 7 players to go.

Bamfords injury last week screwed me a bit. I’d always intended on bringing him in this week, but with him not being 100% and being short players anyway, I held off. Killed me in my ML.

Quadruple Brighton defence! Fair play. I merely tripled up myself ;). I have Dunk VC actually so if something happens to Kane before kick off I could end up in the same boat as you.

What odds are Brighton to keep a clean sheet anyway? In my mind I’d say it’s 50/50.

    Your mind is pretty accurate.
Betfred have it as 5/6 each of two on the unders/overs of half a goal.
So with bookies margin that's 50/50 for a clean sheet or not.

Captained Trossard and had a dream last night he came off injured after 3 minutes. Officially worried.

on 3(-4) from Dallas, Maja. 68k down to 104k. Ouch!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,605 ✭✭✭macraignil

    Martinez
    Targett, Lascelles, Holding, Cresswell
    Son, Lingard(c), B Traore
    Kane, Bamford

With 11 form 1 so far and Holding and Son not likely to play its more than likely a red arrow in OR this week. An Aston Villa clean sheet and a return from captain Lingard my only hope of an OK week I think. Just brought in Lascelles who has scored 2 in the last three games so hoping he continues the run of goal scoring and gets a win for Newcastle.

    Good luck!

Plays better in a back four with the rest of the Ghostbusters - Ray, Egon and Winston.
