Asking €2700, you wouldn't get a spun out 20 TVO for that....

If she's running anyway sweet, she's in her money, body work in alright order.

Remember doing the ones under cab behind the wheels, steel was like a sieve....nothing even to weld onto

Joys of living beside the sea :puke:

Back four are fine on my one, front ones broke the rails and punched up through them.
Metal wasn't rotten at all, just stress cracked.

The floor on mine cracked above the step.

I wonder is it the cab mount that’s caused it, not much rust

I’ve the top half of the cab separated, I must lift the bottom piece to check

Similar enough price and condition of the one I bought in January, mine might have been a bit cleaner and came with two new mudguards and tail pieces. Got the wheels painted during the week, happy enough with it now. It's nearly there.

Edit: I hope I don't get stick here for getting small bit of paint on the tyres!

Or a broken key on his keyboard meaning whatever he typed before the 5 didn't appear!

    No numberplate on it either

Possibly a scam. I suppose it could also just be a random meaningless figure, if he doesn't want to reveal what he's asking for it online. Kind of like when you see €12345 on DoneDeal...

If you buy a tractor privately or at auction from a farm clearance and it's three years out of tax, is it required to pay those three years back tax before you can get it taxed for the next twelve months?

Not if you are a new registered owner on the tax book

    Seriously.

That's good to know. Surely thought you'd be caught for back tax.

    Yep

Some people with low moral standards would change the registered owner of a vehicle to a family member and back themselves again to avoid paying back tax if tax expired for a while.

    Shocking behaviour

Lovely tractor, the 8011 was a great tractor. Far ahead of the offerings from Ford and Massey at the time. Still useful if you've good one.

You interested in a deere or a massey?

No. No need to back tax when changing ownership.

If you had a yoke in the yard off the road for a few years and you wanted to put it back on the road without paying the back-tax, you can do that if you transfer its registration to someone else like a sibling or parent or child or spouse. Then can then transfer it back later, or not.

    Nope.

Very little hours on the lots.

And an absolutely beautiful location to live and house there. Everything will make their value.

Or, change ownership to yourself use your middle name. Friend did this amd it worked, logbook came back with both first names on it.

That Ford is a nice example, especially if it's as well restored as he claims. The Super Q cab first appeared on the Series 11 in about 1986, I think....

I think I remember that one being advertised for sale by M.T.?
Wheels look well white although you're a bit controversial with white instead of red, but it does brighten the look of her. Do you have an original seat in it?
Do you have the control box for instead the door?

You've now got a great pulling machine that will be fit for most stuff on the farm. Them things were years ahead of the competition at the time. Savage pulling machine.

They are all over priced by 30-40%. None of them have photos of the inside except the Ford. 8k hours is a lot of hours on them Ford engines. It after being well painted up. It also has the fault with the spline for the clutch pressure plate. Not sure was the engine that went porous as well.I be hesitant at 10-12k as it has no loader.

While the Massey might be clean they have said it has mechanical problems. It's a very old tractor and is really only a pulling tractor. There is no close in photos of the 699 so it hard to know it condition. However it's hours are not high. It's a six cylinder.

The Fiat is a nice tractor but 25k is a lot for it. If you had to.put a loader on any of these tractors it 5-8k more minimum. Add that to any price asked and you have other options out there
