Hi. Hoping to apply for a mortgage next year. I have some land about to come into my name (just a matter of registering it etc) has anyone any advice on using my land/site as part of collateral for a loan for a mortgage? Do I need to hire and architect to draw up plans and if so what are the costs. I’ve no idea where to begin so any advice would be appreciated.
