Hi all, hoping somebody can help to identify the spider in these pictures, found in the garage today. 2 separate spiders, not 2 pictures of the same one.

It looks like a False Widow Spider which can give a nasty sting , some other poster may know more.

Look like false widows.

Painful bite, mostly ok otherwise, not aggressive unless threatened. A number of Irish people have been hopsitalised in recent years through bites. They are an invasive species. You are suppose to catch them for further study rather than kill them.
