Does anyone know how the Irish music chart is done these days?
I don't think cd singles are even made anymore. Do they still count the sales of digital downloads, wouldn't most people be streaming now anyway instead of buying mp3s like?

Don't know about Ireland, but I assume it's similar to the UK. There a sale of a digital download counts as one unit. Additionally 100 paid streams (e.g. Spotify, Youtube, etc. subscribers) = one unit, and 600 free streams (non-subscribers) also = one unit. Total units in a given week = the sales figure that's used to calculate the charts.
