Patio/paving and landscaping recommendations

    Hi,

    Looking to get some work done to improve small back garden. Would like a patio and small bit of landscaping. Can anyone recommend a good reputable company you’ve had do similar work pls?
    Also, what type of slab/stone is best for patio?

    What area are you are in?

    Slabs/stone depends on what look you want - for example if you already have, say, stone walls in the garden you would probably want to go with something similar. The main reason for choosing one over another is cost, concrete slabs, sandstone, granite are quite a lot of difference in price.

    As above, totally depends on if you are trying to tie it in with something else in the garden. If budget allows, I'd recommend Irish limestone very highly. Suited to the Irish climate and maybe I'm biased but think it's the best looking natural stone out there.
