Leaving out the easter holidays effect which may have made it appear transient.

Really, I detected bull**** but was told I was just seeing it all wrong.

No glee. I wish they would take more measures to prevent airborne spread instead of saying it's not airborne. CO2 monitors would help and making air changes in classrooms a priority no matter what the facebook feed tells teachers about vitamin D and scamdemic.

just glad he nearly said it was due to schools being back two weeks but he he didn't.

Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer has said there "are reasons for real hope" that Ireland "can confidently move to a point" where an easing of restrictions can be recommended to Government.

However, Dr Holohan said: "We are not yet where we need to be."

Dr Holohan said NPHET is " a little concerned" about data of recent days, and he said this data will "be observed more closely in the coming days before we can be satisfied that we have arrived at a point where we can advise Government on any easing of restrictions."

600 cases of sniffles or asymptomatic. Only a tiny portion now serious cases. I'm more optimistic daily. But, as an Island we need to protect the advantage, and I don't rate our governments will to do that.
