I would agree in full with your summation J, as reported.

The question now must be how much did this ‘enquiry’ cost?

What was the reason for it?

What action will be taken on the results of what one would be led to believe was an expensive process?

Be nice to know the taxpayer wasn’t stiffed for a wedge that found out nothing!

    We await developements.

Thanks expectationlost. Only in Ireland can the suspect (CEO Michael Cullen) provide "assurances" about an adjacent party (Gerards school) such that our national broadcaster informs the public that this case is closed.

Fergal, our intrepid RTE journalist, implied that he has reviewed the unpublished report as if this should be a comfort to us. Fergal overlooked to mention the report was written by Eugene McCague who has been a HSE board member and professionally benefitted from a 60M euro contract award by said HSE. Fergal also did not explain why this story only popped back up 1 month later. This is NOT journalism.

Fergal Bowers take a bow. I'm sure this is what you dreamt of when you were a young scout journalist.

Maybe the report and the associated costs would have to be made available under a FOI request? After all, it was commissioned by Min for Health. Tax payers money was used to pay for Eugene McCague (an ex-HSE board member) to review the suspect hospital CEO's interactions with the HSE.

let it go, it was a storm in a tea cup when it happened, now its entirely irrelevant.

The actual vaccinations are irrelevant for sure Cy....it's the cost and content of the report that now is of interest.

Why would this information not be available ....and who makes that decision ?
