    Hi guys,

Just wondering if you have any thoughts on this soundbar vs the Sonos Beam? It's for a medium-sized living room and not looking for multiple speakers.
Richer Sounds Ireland - JBL BAR 5 0 Black

I'd like the second HDMI connection so as to play CDs without going via the TV ARC, but not a deal-breaker if the Sonos is the better product.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the post Former Former Former!

I haven't actually heard the JBL running myself but judging on the sound quality of their other components I dare say it would sound fantastic. The JBL does have Virtual Atmos which the Sonos doesn't but then the Sonos will allow you to add wireless rears as well as a multi room system so can be built upon as you go!

The Sonos Beam does sound great as well and has more features although I wouldn't be able to give an opinion on whether or not the JBL sounds better as I haven't had a chance to demo it yet.

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

OK thanks David, payday next week so I'll do some reading and get back to you then to pull the trigger on one or other.
