Any recommendations for a dermatologist for ezema style symptoms.
Can you go direct without having to spend another €50 on a GP?

Also, are some specialist GPS just as good dermatologists, when it comes to things like this, than more serious things like skin cancer?

    Generally not - it's the system :-(

Big question - I suppose some GP's might have more experience etc......I don't know any.

    I've PM'd you one suggestion....

Some GPs have a dermatology qualification even though they're not a consultant. So seeing one of them will probably save you money and time because they might be able to treat you without being referred to a consultant. They can always refer you onwards if necessary. I've seen one such GP at the Turner's Cross Medical Centre: http://turnerscrossmedicalcentre.ie/?doctors=dr-maria-mclaughlin

I find Dr Ranga in Carrigtohill excellent.
