Do dell do finance ? More I look into it being a noob. Be easier over pay buy a pre built from pc specialist using finance option then trying build one in current climate or pay dell a big lump sum

You should not buy a PC on finance.

Either use savings, or take a small loan from your bank/credit union.
The rates will always be better.

Unless it is a work tool, you shouldn't buy a PC for anything else but cash. No buts here.

Keep an eye for the PC you want here: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/dfh/shop/dell-refurbished/cp/outlet

If you see one that fits, you will need to talk to a sales person - if your lucky they will offer you an extra 10/20% off.

If your getting a laptop make sure to get the 3/4 year onsite premium support (it will typically be cheaper for outlet items and especially when sold via the UK site).

I bought a PC from pcspecialist.ie early this year, didn't buy anything too high-end. 5600x with a RTX 2060, and 4tb of storage. Paid just under 1,500, which I thought was very reasonable. Took about 5-6 weeks to arrive and have no complaints at all. I'm only very mildly interested in building a PC, but really have no interest in trying to track down my own GPU on the moment. To be honest I think the problems of paying over-the-odds and long wait-times are only if you're ordering a 30-series card, which just comes with the territory at the minute.

Don’t hold your breath for your order from pc specialist,
It’s taking fedex 2 weeks to deliver because they ship it over to France , then back again to then UK.
I’m just hoping they don’t decide to repeat the trick

Didn't happen with mine, it just went from their assembly line to Stansted, to Dublin, then to me.
