Really!? Chilly but nothing particularly unusual in Portmarnock

    Certainly not snow weather anyway.

Snow and ice warning for all of NI from 10pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning.

Wintry showers persisting through the night onwards into Tuesday morning accompanied by windy conditions will lead to patchy accumulations of 2 to 4 cm snow in some places, mainly inland and on hills.

Cold, crisp but bone-dry morning there as I walked to the shop. Eating the breakfast roll in the conservatory now and it's nice.

Glad you’re enjoying your breakfast roll. How would you describe the weather?

Some snow showers heading my way. Met office warning.

“ Wintry showers persisting through the night onwards into Tuesday morning accompanied by windy conditions will lead to patchy accumulations of 2 to 4 cm snow in some places, mainly inland and on hills.”

Got down to 0.7c in the last shower.

    Delighted for those getting snow.

Cold and breezy in Galway but nothing yet.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Haven’t seen showers like that since 2010. Hopefully that continues and we get a proper covering.

    Another shower incoming.

Amazes me that snow can persist through April sun in Canada etc.

Despite cool temps snow is melting in the shade. Hopefully showers don’t die out tonight.

Fair drop In temperature compared to yesterday here in Cork but not bad all the same. Just back from a 3 hour walk and it was nice weather for it.

I told you last week, the warmer soil temperatures from recent days would cause rapid melt.

No I didn't, I said the heaviest showers would be east, which is where they are.
