    Never even heard of rhubarb scones PM !
    Had a Lemon scone once , it was fine , but like Grem , a fresh scone out of the oven , with butter melting into it can't be beat .

    Busy day sightseeing in Kilkenny city centre - Kilkenny Castle, St. Canices's cathedral and the Butler Gallery. Real immersion of history and culture. :)

    Now chilling on the covered hotel terrace with a post-dinner cigarette and peppermint tea. Weather turned rainy and cool this evening.

    Worked with a fella one day, he asked me if I would like a bun, I politely declined and watched in complete horror as the animal took out a scone from a bag and ate it. Like an apple. Or 'bun' if you like. Not a scraping of butter, jam, cream, nothing on it!!!!
    Dry flipping scone.
    Animal.

    You'd miss Seph Ted and Buile posting in here , the plate sliding , dealings with Ted , pics of Khali .
    Anyhow, just an observation, I know people don't have to post if they don't want to before anyone reminds me of that fact !

    The boys are really missing out as I bought scones this morning and who will I slide the leftovers too :eek:

    Alfie is staying at the vets as they think he has gastroenteritis, he’s on a drip now for the next 24 hours.
