    I know nothing about soccer.
In penalties, can the same player take more than one penalty?

Yes..if all 11 players take a penalty and it's still level the players take a penalty again, until someone misses.

Just noticed that today it's been four years since mom passed away. That explains why the whole bloody day felt like there was a pall of grey smoke hanging over it.

On the balcony now with a pint of Radler. Here's to you, mom! *raises glass*

Hope you enjoyed that drink thomil. Your post stood out for me re your Mom. Ain't easy. Never is. I'm appreciating my parents now more than ever. Poor Mrs G went threw both her parents deaths within 18 months. Stay cool.

Not sure if I can embed this video, but will try. I love the sensation of breaking through clouds to a blue sky.

I need to cut the grass, it'll have to wait until later or I'll collapse with heat stroke.

    Gorgeous day though!

Is painting in direct sunlight like this messing up the application?

Mam,. I hope you went inside during the very hot periods.
If I was painting today, I'd only be able to go out after 6pm..too hot.

Nope , luckily it was the shaded corner areas , the last of it , otherwise I wouldn't have went near it tbh .

Exhausted, just sat outside for a relax. Work very hectic along with life in general.

I've taken a few days off work, binge watching Vera all afternoon , I'm always whingeing about work but whenever I take time off I just slump, every single time, so annoying. I watched LI last night, never watched it previously, think I'm going to follow it as it's chewing gum for the brain and suits me right now.

Well done finishing of the painting Mam, just in time for a wherers visit, Leggy ,cut your grass before we go on our road trip, always be prepared. 😂

Tableside, exhausted and not a little defeated after today's announcement.

I was planning to right a slightly tongue-in-cheek blog post about the, err, "quality" of buskers in Cork city, but I'll have to see whether I can muster the energy for that.

@Night Owl: No shame in lying down and looking out for yourself. That happens far too little these days

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Nicely de-stressed and chilled after my weekly Zoom yoga class.

Was an absolute cracker of a day - but had to slave away indoors working on a proposal for a new course two of my colleagues and I are hoping - if approved - we will be putting together over the Summer.

Lots of events coming up over the next fortnight - my nephew’s 20th birthday so have to post a bday card off to Holland (how the hell did that happen so bloody fast?? Lol), my late dad’s anniversary and my OH’s Birthday. :D

    Lots to do!!
