Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Work time for me again, a lovely 12 hours since I walked into the hotel. Night or day it’s all the same.

Maybe it’s time for another frozen yoghurt :):)

It was just far too nice a day to have to slave away at my desk indoors...

...so I knocked off early at 2pm and took a DART out to Blackrock, where I walked along the coast path to Dun Laoghaire. Warm bright sun and haze, but a slightly chilly sea breeze. :)

Chilling on the sofa with a novel now.

    Tableside, just finished dinner.

Lovely day today, popping out to the farmer's market for lunch was the break I needed in a drama-filled day at work.

Beyond that, working with an open window was the most I could get from the good weather today.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Today was grocery shop, grass cutting and a completely fooked up experience trying to pay M50 tolls. Online? Nope server error. By phone? Nope. Constantly getting the reg wrong when you speak it. When I eventually got beyond that and typed my card number etc it still made mistakes and ultimately kicked me out. Payzone it ended up being. Is it always this fooked up? I used to have a work tag.

You disgust me. Wash your mouth out with soap this minute young lady! :p

Endless excitement here as I gradually increase the depth of the arse shaped indent on my couch. Still, I haven't eaten liver so I've that going for me at least!

You don't know what you're missing. My dad used to cook an absolutely divine "Berliner Leber". That's pan-fried beef liver served with loads of sauteed onions, caramelised apple slices and mashed potatoes. Absolutely divine! Wish he was still around.

Alternatively, I've heard that fava beans and a nice chianti go well with liver as well :P :D

I've had liver as a child but now as an adult cooking my own meals, I wouldn't allow it inside the door. Satan's food :p

Today is the last day I get my godson for babysitter duties, his mother works in carphone warehouse....so she finishes up today...
I'm actually gutted :D of course I'll still see him, but having him around 3 days a week helps my focus & keeps me busy....maybe I should start a daddy daycare :D

Thanks, but I hope that corporate Darwinism will take care of this. Won't go into details as I don't want to air dirty laundry outside the company.

Go with the alcohol instead Forget your weeds. I've a virtual Coors Light if that's any use. That said I had some solitude in the garden today. Now I'm no gardener, but it was a nice clean up on stuff you only notice when you are fooking sick and tired of being out of full time work due to uncle covid and looking to do **** to keep body and soul together.:D I even joined a Q at a car wash this morning eating sausage rolls and having random chat with others about our lives. An instant therapy session outdoors at a fooking car wash.
